We're not trying to get big. We're trying to make things that are still good in ten years, which is a different job.
Ship it, then live with it

Everything we build, we use ourselves first. If it annoys us on a Tuesday night, it doesn't go out.

One person can build a lot now. We use AI the way a carpenter uses a nail gun — it doesn't design the house.

A note from the person building it.
I'm Zac. Bitshouse is me, a laptop, and a house in South Carolina.
I started it because I kept losing things. Family stories were living in group texts and camera rolls and the memory of one person who might not always be around to tell them. So I built Ruckus — for my own family first, and then for anyone else with a voice they'd hate to lose.
Then I registered an LLC, because it turns out you need one of those. Everything I make from here lives under the same roof. The next thing will probably start the same way this one did — with something I needed and couldn't buy.
I'm not raising money and I'm not hiring. I answer to the people who use my stuff and nobody else.
